About Katie
Katie O'Leary's decade as a Tulane Law School administrator in charge of student life taught her how to counsel stressed students—a skill she now uses to benefit families navigating real estate.
"My aim as an agent is to make the process as stress-free as possible," Katie says. "If people are patient, calm, and remember their goals, they can pretty much always accomplish what they're looking for."
She has the track record to back up her words of wisdom. A fifth-generation New Orleanian intimately familiar with the Big Easy's many neighborhoods, Katie graduated from area mainstay Mount Carmel Academy in 1998. She earned a magna cum laude bachelor's in educational psychology from Mississippi State University in 2002. In 2006, she finished Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in the top eight percent of her class.
Like law school, real estate transactions are not something to take lightly. But by listening attentively to everyone's needs, and by learning what they love about houses, Katie skillfully guides clients to within-budget opportunities that make the stress melt away.
She's recently added mentoring novice realtors and social media marketing to her repertoire. Developing relationships online and off connects her with new possibilities for problem-solving on her client's behalf.
When not supporting other families, Katie spends time with her own: her husband, her two little girls—including volunteering at their school—and Charlie, their affectionate Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
