In today’s fast-changing real estate market, it’s essential to have an agent who knows the ropes – like Meg Peters. Meg is a real estate agent, attorney, title insurance agent, and notary who has closed more than 1,000 real estate transactions and hundreds of loans for remodeling and renovation. She knows the market and will guide a client through every step, from initial offer to negotiations and closing.
Meg grew up in Mandeville and graduated Mandeville High then earned a BS in Psychology at LSU, where she was Kappa Kappa Gamma. She went on to earn a law degree at Loyola University New Orleans School of Law.
After obtaining her law license, Meg pursued her interest in real estate, first performing title searches at Access Land & Title Services then by practicing as a title attorney at two New Orleans based title companies for the last seven years.
Meg’s experience in real estate law pairs nicely with her practice as a realtor with Athena. She knows the southshore and northshore area markets very well: Lakeview and Mid-City, where her sister’s family and Meg’s family live; Uptown, University, and the Lower Garden District, where she and her husband Blake studied law and have lived; Westbank and Metairie, the site of her title work office; and the northshore, where her parents live and Meg grew up.
Meg’s in-depth knowledge of real estate law and processing procedures will be particularly helpful for both residential and commercial clients.
